Around 30 editorial offices presented highlights from the 2017 Vienna Book Fair in the VÖZ collaborative project “Beste Seiten”. The ninth edition of the supplement was published in November 2017 with a circulation of 170,000 copies and was distributed as a supplement to all the biggest daily newspapers in Austria. The cover design was chosen via a competition of students from the Visual Communication Department of the Linz University of Arts, which I won.

The illustration should emphasize that books can serve as portals to foreign worlds. The special characteristic of the design is that the interplay of the different levels works from every perspective.
